Early Tudor Gown
c. 1535
This gown features a smooth sided bodice designed to be worn over a corset. The neckline
is trimmed with antiqued brass filigree accented with garnet beads. The lining of bell shaped sleeves match
the underskirt and are deeply turned back into cuffs. The separate underskirt closes with a hidden side zipper.
This gown is shown over a long chemise and is worn over a Renaissance Style Corset. The
Noble Lady's Shirt could also be worn. Both of these are sold separately and can be seen on our "Corsets and Underpinnings"
page.
Prices begin at $400 depending on fabrics and trims selected.
