This Italian style gown was develped when we added a skirt to our
short bodice.
The bodice is fully lined and boned for support. The long, gathered skirt remains
open down the front to show a full-length chemise.
This bodice is designed
to be supportive, so it is perfect for ladies who don't want to be constricted by a corset. It can be worn either
on its own or with a modern bra.
Because of the high waistline, this gown is a great option as a renaissance maternity
dress.
