Early Tudor Gown
c. 1530-1550

This square-necked gown features a smooth sided bodice designed to be worn over a  corset.  The neckline is trimmed with a band matching the separate underskirt.   The bell shaped sleeves are lined with contrasting fabric or fur and turn back into deep cuffs.

Bands running the length of the overskirt match the sleeves and neckline.
This gown is shown over a long chemise and is worn over a Renaissance Style Corset and a farthingale.     These are sold separately and can be seen on our "Corsets and Underpinnings" page.

Prices begin at $500 depending on fabrics and trims selected.
