Yes, even young children wore corsets. Child's corsets were
not the same as adult corsets; they started as a firm garment designed to promote good posture and support the weight
of skirts & petticoats. As the girls grew older, the corsets started shaping the torso to reflect the ideal sillouhette
of the era.
We can create most of our garments, including underpinnings, in child sizes, and can provide
some historical references for accuracy.
