This 1850-1860 style gown features
a darted bodice attached to a gathered skirt.
The full pagoda style sleeves are accented by shoulder epaulets. A fabric
belt is secured to the bodice and ties into a bow in the back. This dress
closes in the back and can close with buttons, hooks & eyes, or lacing through grommets.
This version was made and lined in flannel as to be warm for
outdoor Victorian Christmas events. It can be made of many different fabrics to meet the needs of different events and
weather.
